Introduced legislation to achieve redistricting reform, which was approved by the City Council and the voters to amend the Home Rule Charter to ensure more representative and less political redistricting process.
Pro Bono Legal Counsel (2019-21)
Represented three City Council members who advocated for greater State accountability in its takeover of Providence Public Schools. Unfortunately, the Department of Education failed to heed their position, which has proven to be a mistake.
Represented a South Providence neighborhood association which successfully prevented the siting of a solid waste transfer station that would have increased air pollution in an overburdened neighborhood already suffering disproportionately from asthma, blood lead poisoning and other environmentally-related health issues.
