There are road races that will affect travel in our neighborhood on both Saturday (April 30) and Sunday (May 1).
The April 30 race will be less disruptive. It will begin at 11:00 a.m. and will be less disruptive. The route will be largely along Lloyd, President and Cole Avenues. You can view the route map and information about the race by clicking here.
The May 1 race will follow a route that includes the bulk of Blackstone Boulevard and seals off the Grotto Avenue neighborhood among others between approximately 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. Here are some links to view the course map and view the timetable by location. At this time, I am not aware of any other road races this season as disruptive as Sunday’s, but I will be sure to inform you if that occurs.
