On Sunday, May 3, the Cox Sports Half Marathon will affect the Blackstone Boulevard neighborhood. You can see a map of the race by clicking here. The running traffic will be at its peak between 8:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. If you need to cross the path of runners during this time, please contact Lieutenant Ryan at 301-7442 to work out a plan. It may involve a delay of 15-20 minutes to “get through” depending on the time. The City has assured me that this will be the only half-marathon this year, and that no other races will temporarily “block in” neighborhoods until September at the earliest.
